By booking and paying for our classes you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions below:
1. WEATHER
1.1 In the UK the weather is unpredictable. For our sessions that are outdoor they will go ahead unless the weather is deemed unsafe to do so by the organisers/venue. Unsafe weather will include the likes of high winds and lightening but DOES NOT include rain.
1.2 If class is cancelled due to factors out of our control such as dangerous weather, venue issues or illness, alternative arrangements maybe offered such as activities to enjoy at home in nature or an extension to other classes during the term where possible as an alternative to the class missed due to cancellation. In circumstances where credit is offered this can only be for the same value of the session missed, for example if a term time session is postponed/cancelled and credit offered this can only be redeemed against another term time session.
1.3. The location of some of our classes are outdoor in nature and is therefore everchanging. It is the clients responsibility to ensure you attend in suitable clothing and footwear for you and baby/toddler. Good footwear is essential and waterproof outerwear recommended for you and baby along with layered clothing.
1.4 If dangerous weather is experienced for our outdoor classes during session such as high winds, lightening, extreme temperatures we may shorten session & finish early for the safety of participants and staff, on these occasions no alternative session will be provided.
2. HEALTH & SAFETY
2.1 Our classes are set in natural environments with risk assessments carried out prior to sessions taking part. However please ensure you are vigilant around what the child attending touches and ensure they dont put any objects in their mouth that are dangerous. By booking and paying you are agreeing to the parent/caregiver attending being fully responsible for the child they are accompanying.
2.2 By making a booking you are consenting to First Aid being administered to any of your party should it be required.
3.ILLNESS & COVID 19 POLICY
3.1 If you or anyone attending is experiencing symptons of contagious illness or anyone in your household is experiencing COVID symptons or you have tested positive please DO NOT attend class.
3.2 If you become unwell or test positive for COVID 19 please contact us as soon as possible as we may need to inform other group members.
3.3 Please ensure you maintain social distancing and ensure your hands are cleaned before class and afterwards, please feel free to use hand sanitiser provided.
3.4 As classes are outdoor there is no legal requirement to wear a mask HOWEVER if you would rather then please do so for the group sections of the class.
4.BABY WEARING
4.1 Nature Nurture sessions can require baby wearing/carrying for sessions that include a woodland walk. It is the parents/caregivers responsibility to ensure a suitable and correctly fitted sling/carrier is used and that baby wearing is practised at home first.
4.2 We highly recommend that babies are either in a carrier or sling for any movement or walking aspect of all our classes for babies and your own health and safety.
5. PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT
5.1 By booking and paying you are agreeing to allow Pip and Harris to take images & videos for marketing purposes of both you and your baby for use in the public domain. Should you not wish for this to happen, please contact us when booking.
5.2 You are permitted to take your own photos of you and your baby where suitable but please ensure you respect the rights of other parents and babies when doing so and ensure that you have their consent if they are in your images.
5.3 Our classes are are all about switching off and use of your mobile phone is not encouraged during sessions so please be aware of suitable times to use it for photo purposes.
6. GENERAL
6.1 Pip & Harris classes are inclusive classes for all and are classes for being rather than doing. It is an open space for everyone attending with no judgement at any time.
6.2 Your property and belongings which you bring to class are your responsibility, we shall not be responsible for any loss of, or damage to, such property.
6.3 Pip & Harris classes take pride in the natural surroundings and venues that we use and we operate a leave no trace policy. Please ensure you take any rubbish with you and respect the natural surroundings we have been gifted with.
7. PAYMENT
7.1 Payment is taken upon booking which will guarantee your place at class. If there are issues or errors with payment not being received you will be notified by email and 24 hours given for payment to be made. If payment is still not received at this point your space will be offered up to someone else to book.
8. REFUND POLICY
8.1 Sessions are booked in block bookings of terms or pre-booked workshops and all dates and times of sessions are provided before booking. A refund will not be offered if you can not attend the session after booking has taken place.
8.2 All details of the nature of Pip & Harris sessions can be found on our website prior to booking therefore a refund will not be offered if you decide to change your mind after booking on or attending sessions.
8.3 If our services are delayed by an outside factor such as venue issue, illness or dangerous weather then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and will take steps to minimise the effect of this. These steps may include offering activities to enjoy at home/in nature/online sessions, extensions to other sessions within the term or booking or where deemed feasible by us, rescheduled dates for such classes. Please note classes will still go ahead in rain, this is not deemed as dangerous weather. Provided we are able to offer alternative provision as stated above, we will not be liable for the delay in our services therefore a refund will not be available.
8.4 If you miss a class we are unable to provide a refund, however if adequate notice is provided you may transfer your place on the course to another parent/caregiver and child. Please note we are not involved in any arrangement of this or liable for any alterations.
8.5 In circumstances where a refund is offered, an administration fee of £2.50 will be deducted from the refund total.
